Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to NPD teams, with a focus on Quality, to ensure continuous improvement in product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with customers, sales, engineering teams, and suppliers to resolve technical or practical issues.
  • Mentor AQE team members and encourage skill development.
  • Participate in or recommend the adoption of new technology to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Review 8D reports to ensure complete and professional responses to customers.
  • Audit processes to ensure compliance with ISO-9001 and LPA standards.
  • Participate in crisis management and respond to ongoing production issues.
  • Travel to support internal and external customer needs and NPI programs.
Requirements:
  • APQP process flow and purpose.
  • Knowledge of Inspection Equipment and Inspection Methodology.
  • Design Risk Assessment and Verification activity (DFMEA, DFM, Design Reviews, Qualification).
  • Process Risk Assessment and Verification (PFMEA, FAI, Capability Analysis, QIP/Control Plan, Safe Launch, SPC).
  • Statistics (familiarity with DOE, ANOVA, Hypothesis Testing).
  • Computer Skills (basic office software, MiniTab, database query).
  • Strong Presentation Skills.
  • Familiarity with Model Based Definition is desirable.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication skills.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $150,000 – 225,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location).
