Responsibilities
  • Analyze and troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and system issues
  • Provide technical support and advice to end-users
  • Research and resolve AV software and hardware issues
  • Log trouble tickets and maintain relevant records
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of technological assets
  • Create and maintain user-training manuals and procedures
  • Make recommendations to Executive Management on AV technologies
  • Conduct periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal AV function
  • Communicate with software and hardware vendors
  • Interface with warehouse personnel to ship and receive new or repaired devices
  • Load software and code onto new or repaired AV devices
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Accounting, or related discipline
  • 4+ years of equivalent experience in AV systems integration and technical support
  • AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification
  • Crestron and BiAmp configuration experience
  • NVX experience beneficial
  • CTS-D and Sec+ certifications beneficial
  • Excellent customer service, technical proficiency, time management, communication, organizational, and thoroughness skills
