Job Title: Audio Visual Engineer

Westminster Schools is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join our IT Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the decision-making process related to classroom, office, conference, and auditorium audio/visual and multimedia technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audio/visual equipment in campus event spaces and external venues.
  • Support students, faculty, staff, and external constituents in the use of A/V equipment.
  • Provide occasional live audio mixing for events or engage third-party vendors to support.
  • Recommend and procure new audio/visual equipment that meets the needs of current and new physical spaces.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience in installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of analog and digital A/V equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience with Apple and Microsoft desktops/laptops.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced service environment, interacting with a diverse community, and will be required to work evening and weekend hours as needed to support events.
