We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Telehealth Nursing team at Emory Healthcare. As a Telehealth LPN, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in routine nursing situations under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in routine nursing situations.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses in the comfort, care, and treatment of patients.
- Perform a variety of semi-skilled nursing responsibilities, including administering IVs and medications, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and observing and recording patients' conditions and progress.
- Conduct daily inventory of medical equipment and supplies, and maintain exam/treatment rooms per infection control policies and standard clinic protocols.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, including temperature, respirations, pulse, and blood pressure, and obtain patient measurements, to include height, weight, pain levels, and others in the electronic medical record.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Current BLS certification required.
