Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our National Branch Network team in Consumer, Small and Business Banking. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a diverse team of direct and indirect reports, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a high-performing team, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for executing policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations, managing the allocation of people and financial resources for the branch, and resolving low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business.
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.
  • Ability to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success.
  • Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives.
  • Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to manage time, prioritize, and delegate tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment.
