Job Description

At Sunroad Automotive, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Body Shop Office Staff to join our team at Kearny Mesa Ford/Kia. As a key member of our body shop team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to clients seeking repairs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer inquiries and coordinate appointments for vehicle repairs.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines, explaining the repair process and any necessary services.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, appointments, and service history in the dealership management system.
  • Work closely with body shop technicians and management to facilitate smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • Gather customer feedback and use it to improve service processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Valid Driver's license and safe driving record; required to have California within 30 days.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and work in various positions (e.g., bending, kneeling) for extended periods.
