Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
  • Use specialized tools and software to evaluate damage and assess repair requirements.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for vehicle repairs, including parts, labor, and other expenses.
  • Ensure estimates are consistent with industry standards and repair shop pricing.
  • Communicate with customers to explain repair processes, cost estimates, and insurance claims.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide updates on the repair status.
  • Work with insurance adjusters and companies to facilitate claims and approve repair estimates.
  • Provide documentation and reports to support insurance claims and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with Bodyshop technicians to plan and schedule repair work.
  • Monitor the progress of repairs to ensure they are completed on time and to quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and related documents.
  • Generate reports and summaries for management and insurance companies as needed.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Follow up with customers post-repair to ensure they are satisfied with the work performed.
  • Inspect completed repairs to verify that they meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues with the completed work.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience as an auto body estimator, auto appraiser.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in auto body repair or related field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates.
Work Environment

Noise level is moderate.

*Hourly rate plus commission
