Position Overview: As a Chef de Partie at VENETO, you will be expected to engage positively and professionally with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. We are seeking individuals who share our passion for food and beverage, working collaboratively to ensure an outstanding dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute fundamental food preparation tasks and manage a designated station, adhering to restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Represent the VENETO brand with professionalism and dedication, contributing to the restaurant's success from the start to the end of each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of your work area.
  • Transport supplies and stock to designated locations as needed.
  • Initiate prep work for menu items required during service.
  • Prepare all dishes according to established recipes and yield guidelines.
  • Ensure proper processing and placement of all requisitions.
  • Label and date all products accurately to guarantee safety and sanitation.
  • Meet with chefs to discuss assignments, anticipated business levels, and other relevant information.
  • Complete opening tasks, including setting up your workstation with necessary tools and supplies.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and functionality of all kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Review production schedules and prioritize tasks, communicating supply needs to chefs.
  • Conduct prep work after service to prepare for the next meal period.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Experience in Fine Dining / Italian Cuisine:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Flexibility to adapt to last-minute changes gracefully.
  • A solid understanding of Italian regional cuisine and culture is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and around hot surfaces and sharp utensils.
  • Knowledge of food service sanitation and safety regulations is essential.
