VFS Fire and Security Services is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler System Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fire protection services team, you will be responsible for supporting foremen and other team members with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support with the installation of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring quality of work and attention to detail.
- Follow safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment, and adhere to company and industry standardized practices.
- Attend training, safety, and education meetings to enhance knowledge of safety concerns and resolve related issues.
- Work with integrity to uphold organizational values and maintain a safe working environment.
- Valid driver's license without restrictions.
- High School diploma/GED.
- Basic understanding of measurements and ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and fire codes.
- Knowledge of how to operate various electrical and mechanical tools, such as saws, wrenches, cutting torches, drills, pipe threader, lifts, ladders, and motor vehicles.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- 1+ years of fire sprinkler experience and knowledge of NFPA13 preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, and operate a motor vehicle.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including timesheets, work tickets, and inspection reports.
- Communicate clearly and solve practical problems.
- Meet deadlines and schedules, and work with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to stay on feet all day and lift/carry 50+ pounds with no fear of climbing or heights.
- Work in elevated areas for extended periods and maintain stamina for consistent tasks.
- Repetitive hand and finger movements, such as grasping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Ability to work under any weather condition in outdoor and indoor environments.
$20 - $25 per hour.
