Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Building Sciences Practice Team Manager to join our team in West Springfield, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals in various settings, including mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, and other building science-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the execution of building science-related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead and train junior staff, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agency representatives to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit technical proposals, reports, and budgets to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, and industrial hygiene services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10-15 years of experience in building sciences, with a focus on asbestos, mold, and lead-related projects.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to pass a driver background check, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check for work with state and local governments and defense contractor clients.
  • Excellent written, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven effective management skills and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Asbestos, lead, and/or mold licenses or training.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Experience in writing comprehensive technical reports and proposals.
