Key Responsibilities


- Prepare, review, and analyze financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards.

- Conduct complex assignments related to accounting projects and maintain the general ledger.

- Identify discrepancies and issues, taking proactive steps to resolve them.

- Implement and monitor accounting controls.

- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address accounting inquiries.

- Provide guidance to project teams on accounting and internal control matters related to new initiatives and system enhancements.

- Mentor and offer support to junior accountants.


Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience in general accounting or 4+ years in public accounting.

- Comprehensive understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple tasks.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.


Education

- Master’s degree preferred (Candidates without a master’s degree should have relevant progressive work experience).
Preferred Qualifications

- Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
