Job Overview

The PACE Center Supervisor position is a critical role within AltaMed Health Services Corp., responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of healthcare and social services in the AltaMed PACE program. This position requires a strong leader who can support all aspects of operational areas at the assigned site, including clinical support, participant personal care, recreational therapies, administrative, nutritional, participant transportation, and day center activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the achievement of efficient operations in accordance with licensing, regulatory standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute administrative skills and abilities to the staff selection and retention process, annual budgets, performance management, process improvement efforts, and care coordination with internal and external resources.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines, including nursing, social work, psychology, recreation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, and/or gerontology.
  • Develop and implement process or quality improvement projects or activities to enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and public relations to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Gerontology, Health Care Administration, or other healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisor or management position in healthcare or a related field.
  • License required if candidate has a clinical degree.
  • Experience working collaboratively with various disciplines and in process or quality improvement projects or activities.
  • Experience in customer/public relations.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on site location.
