Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Department Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Pulmonary Laboratory, including staffing, equipment, and workflow management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor staffing levels to ensure optimal patient care
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure accurate test results
  • Evaluate and improve workflow processes to increase efficiency
  • Provide diagnostic testing to patients to optimize their care
  • Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis and other pulmonary functions testing
Requirements
  • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner License in the state required
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • PALS certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • NRP certification for NICU RCP preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a blood gas laboratory
