Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Consultant, Land Services to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our Land Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients across various industry sectors, including electric transmission and distribution, power generation, and renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in ensuring deliverables meet client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Negotiate and secure legal land agreements, including rights-of-way, leases, grants, and fee purchases, on behalf of our clients.
  • Assist with title research and investigations, reviewing searches for accuracy and aiding in the abstraction of rights for summarization.
  • Act as a liaison between affected property owners and our clients, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
  • Support land valuation studies and prepare applications for various permits, licenses, and bonds.
  • Investigate damage claims, assess damage, and negotiate settlements.
  • Develop proposals, budgets, project plans, schedules, progress reports, and scopes of work.
  • Track project land budgets and prepare regular financial reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree preferred, but not required; IRWA or similar registration preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks, working independently and within teams to meet concurrent deadlines.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful growth strategies with clients in the power generation, electrical transmission, renewable energy, mining, oil & gas, and technology sectors.
