Job Title: Chip Manufacturing Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chip Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team at Epik Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in providing top-notch customer support to startups, SMEs, universities, and system houses throughout their tape-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance to customers on design rules, libraries, and wafer manufacturing processes.
  • Check and guarantee the quality of chips designed by customers, based on documentation provided by manufacturing plants, and knowledge gained from the team and past projects.
  • Prepare chip designs for fabrication at foundries.
  • Help customers with final sign-off using advanced CAD software programs.
  • Assist the sales team in technical discussions with customers.
  • Follow up on projects from start to finish and ensure all project milestones are met.
  • Oversee all aspects of personnel management as a Team Leader, ensuring the effective management of the team's human resources.
  • Facilitate collaboration within your team and with other teams.
  • Leverage your expertise to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Ensure your team is sufficiently trained to provide quality customer support.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and guide team members in handling complex technical questions in a customer-centric manner.
  • Key competencies include taking initiative, being client-oriented, punctuality, teamwork, and drive. Strong communication skills are essential, with fluency in spoken and written English to support our US customers.
