Job Overview

**About the Role**

This position is responsible for assisting in the completion of financial reporting and accounting tasks to support the Finance Department, ensuring that ongoing reporting requirements are met with a high standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and post work-in-progress revenue journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring recognition of revenue is supported with proper documentation.
  • Assist with cash applications and credit memo applications.
  • Prepare weekly allocations and related import files.
  • Assist with AP accrual calculations during month-end close.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements.
  • Research vendor refund checks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience.
  • Construction industry experience a plus.
  • Experience with ERP software a plus.
  • Ability to research and analyze various financial data.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
  • Experience with advanced Excel functionality (V-lookups, Pivot tables).
  • Organized, detail oriented with reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties.
  • Ability to work on team projects.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
