Position Overview:

This role involves delivering educational content in the field of Criminal Justice as part of a collaborative instructional team. The primary focus will be on introductory courses that are essential for the Associate of Applied Science Degree, including topics such as Criminal Justice Fundamentals, Judicial Processes, and Law Enforcement Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging instruction in Criminal Justice courses across various formats, including in-person, remote, or online, ensuring alignment with established course outcomes.
  • Provide individualized support to students through scheduled conferences to monitor and enhance their academic progress.
  • Collaborate with departmental colleagues to refine and standardize course curricula.
  • Participate in professional development sessions as organized by the department or institution.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities specific to the instructional environment as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • In-depth understanding of Criminal Justice, supported by relevant educational background or professional experience.
  • Effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse audiences and group dynamics.
  • Ability to utilize technology for instruction, including familiarity with video conferencing tools and learning management systems.

Minimum Requirements:
