Key Responsibilities- Standards of Practice: Our RNs practice is guided by the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, which includes utilizing the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Standards of Professional Performance: Our RNs engage in professional role activities, including leadership, collaboration, communication, and evidence-based practice, to provide high-quality patient care.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in geriatric psych preferred.
Our Geriatric Psych Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prolonged standing, walking, and use of sight, hearing, and touch. May be exposed to infectious diseases and physical, mental, and emotional illness.
