Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Quality Assurance Planning: Collaborate with the Technical Lead or Product Development Manager to formulate comprehensive testing strategies and plans that align with project goals and timelines. Focus on optimizing testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Test Design and Execution Oversight: Lead the detailed design and supervision of test execution, concentrating on critical testing activities. Ensure comprehensive coverage and adherence to quality standards while effectively managing resources and timelines.

Automation and Process Optimization: Enhance and expand automation frameworks and practices. Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and automation coverage, contributing to the selection and implementation of advanced tools and technologies.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the primary QA contact for development and product management teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration. Ensure that QA processes and results are transparent and integrated into the broader development lifecycle.

Quality Advocacy and Project Management: Support the Product Development Manager in project planning and execution, taking ownership of quality assurance deliverables. Mentor junior team members and advocate for quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tools. Share knowledge and insights with the QA team to enhance skill development and process refinement.

Industry Awareness: Stay informed about new testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Share findings with the QA team and Technical Lead, suggesting ways to leverage new insights for improved quality and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in test strategy, planning, execution, and maintenance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with automated testing tools, including advanced scripting for automation.
  • Proven leadership in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Expertise in continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages relevant to test automation.
  • Deep knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Proficient in defect tracking tools.
  • Exceptional collaborative skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English.
  • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Additional Experience Desired:

  • Certifications in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience in performance and load testing.
  • Expertise in security testing practices.
  • Experience leading QA process integration across the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • A strong advocate for process improvement and innovation.
