Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at PIH Health. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general, corrective, and preventative maintenance of equipment and buildings throughout our designated facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet staffing needs and minimize the use of outside contractors
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with courses in arithmetic, mechanics, plumbing, and electricity
  • 2-5 years of experience in general maintenance, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to operate forklifts and large 2-axle trucks
  • Basic knowledge of computers and smartphones
  • Dependable, with good judgment and the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical office experience
