Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, education, and advocacy while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including history and physical exams, daily rounds, and appointments
  • Order medications and lab testing as needed, and develop and implement discharge or home care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in performance improvement and monitoring initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in cardiology and nursing
Requirements
  • Current New York State RN license
  • Experience in pertinent areas of nursing practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or active pursuit within one year
Work Environment

This is a full-time position in a clinical setting, with exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions. The successful candidate will be able to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull, and will work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
