Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Patients: Create a positive first impression for our patients and their families.
  • Manage Front Office Duties: Handle various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Utilize Dentrix Software: Leverage our dental practice management system to streamline patient scheduling, records, and billing processes.
  • Schedule and Confirm Appointments: Coordinate with multiple providers to ensure efficient and effective appointment scheduling.
  • Process Insurance Claims: Handle patient insurance claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage to patients.
  • Manage Patient Payments: Post payments, process accounts receivable, and review treatment plan fees with patients.
  • Partner with Providers: Collaborate with our dental team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office operations.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Preferred Experience: 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting, with experience in insurance billing and accounts receivable, and proficiency in Dentrix or other dental software.
