About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Manager to join our team at Chart House. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and excellence in our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Satisfaction: Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes Attitude" to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Culinary Leadership: Assist the Executive Chef in managing the back of house staff, including ongoing training, development, and follow-up.
  • Cost Management: Achieve or exceed budgeted labor and other cost centers through proper planning and execution.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in overseeing weekly and monthly inventories, and ordering of food and supplies.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: At least 2 years of Culinary Management experience in an upscale/fine dining establishment.
  • Operational Knowledge: Strong knowledge and attention to detail on back of the house operations, including staff supervision, inventory controls, and food/labor cost, and product quality.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Work History: Stable and progressive work history; strong work ethic.
  • Culinary Education: Graduate of an accredited culinary program is a plus.
