Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our team. As a Front Office Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for optimizing patient appointment schedules, managing incoming phone calls, processing new referrals, collecting time-of-service payments, and obtaining insurance authorizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient appointment schedules and coordinate with therapists to ensure efficient use of time
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Process new referrals and collect necessary information from patients and healthcare professionals
  • Collect time-of-service payments and obtain insurance authorizations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and mailings
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing position, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
