Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist I:

This role encompasses Tier 1 Information Technology (IT) support duties. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with desktop computers, managing printers and copiers, performing basic network troubleshooting, deploying software updates and patches as necessary, and executing other IT-related tasks.

  • 1. Deliver timely Tier 1 support to users.
  • 2. Assist with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support as required.
  • 3. Troubleshoot and resolve all desktop-related issues.
  • 4. Address and resolve all user software concerns.
  • 5. Manage and troubleshoot all printer and copier issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and clients.
  • Proficient understanding of data architecture and complex data reporting.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation tools, including spreadsheets and common data transfer formats.
  • Basic knowledge of compliance requirements such as HIPAA, SOC, and PCI.
  • Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
