Job Title: Career Development Specialist

Join Texas Woman's University as a Career Development Specialist and play a vital role in helping students achieve their career goals. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff, helping them navigate the complexities of career development and employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group career counseling and advising to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Develop and deliver workshops, presentations, and programs to promote career development and employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to design and implement career-related initiatives and programs.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and job market analysis to inform career development strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national employers to expand career and internship opportunities for students and alumni.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of career-related marketing strategies and materials.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Higher Education or a related field.
  • One year of experience in career services or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of career development theories, coaching, and job search techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
