Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Chico's FAS. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing effective sales techniques, communicating product knowledge, and recommending merchandise selections.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as pricing and visual standards.
  • Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance, to ensure a cohesive and engaging store environment.
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and maintain a fast and efficient register experience.
  • Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales.
  • Sign up clients for the reward program and build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Maintain consistent client communication through the utilization of customer books.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
Physical Requirements
  • Constant walking/standing (80% of 8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34-66% of 8-hour shift).
