We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Acute Care Unit at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Design and implement treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.
- Perform complex patient assessments and medical interventions relevant to the unit, including IVP meds, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ventilators, telemetry, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and weaning, and tube feedings.
- New York State RN License
- Associates Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field
- Competitive pay based on experience, skills, and education
- Sign-on bonus of $5,000
- Evening shift differential of $7.00/hr (weekend) and $4.00/hr (weekday)
- Tuition stipend of $5,250 per year
