Part-time position available in our Cardio-Pulmonary unit at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital.
Unit Overview:
The Cardiac-Pulmonary unit at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital provides nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex health conditions. This unique opportunity affords building skills in telemetry, medically complex, and ventilated patient populations.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including those requiring telemetry, ventilators, and other life-sustaining therapies. The nurse will also have opportunities to develop skills in areas such as tracheostomy care, peritoneal dialysis, and blood administration.
Requirements:
New York State RN License
Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred
1 year of RN experience required
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field
