RN - Acute Care-Med Surg Unit - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital Weekend Track Nights

Sunnyview Rehab Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care-Med Surg Unit. This is a full-time, weekend track position, working 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
About the Role:As a Registered Nurse on our Acute Care-Med Surg Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, promoting physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.
Responsibilities:- Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Design and implement treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care.
- Perform complex patient assessments and medical interventions, including IVP meds, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ventilators, telemetry, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and weaning, tube feedings.
- New York State RN License.
- Associates Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
- 1 year RN experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain the highest level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field.
