Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training to team members on fleet-related topics, including applications, reporting, regulations, and processes.
  • Develop, manage, and/or implement fleet policies and procedures related to utilization, modifications, and overall health of the company fleet.
  • Manage relationships with and provide direction to Transportation Services, Functional Areas, and third-party vendors.
  • Execute and monitor waste elimination activities, budgets, and forecasts related to fleet expenses and cost savings.
  • Develop, measure, and report on the success of the program.
  • Identify and maintain strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners.
  • Identify stakeholders and communicate within and outside of Pacific Gas And Electric Company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of related experience.
  • Must be able to be onsite at local service center full-time.
  • Ability to frequently travel within the Pacific Gas And Electric Company service territory.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and equipment types typically used in utilities or construction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, including Excel, Power BI, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in a job-related discipline or equivalent fleet experience.
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet management processes, regulatory requirements, critical success factors, goals, and initiatives.
  • Highly skilled at leading cross-functional project teams. Experience leading cross-cutting programs and/or process improvement initiatives.
  • Advanced presentation skills to effectively convey complex issues to internal and external parties of various levels.
  • Expertise in communication, interpersonal/collaboration influence, and negotiation and change management.
  • Ability to work independently to problem-solve and achieve results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of various enterprise system modules and applications for managing information.

Salary Range

A reasonable salary range for this position is $122,000 - $194,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
