Customer Service Representative

About the Role
United Community Bank is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Contact Center, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service and support through various channels, including phone, email, and secure messaging.
- Process customer requests, including account maintenance, debit card maintenance, and online banking support.
- Meet and exceed personal scorecard goals, contributing to the overall success of the department.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all bank products and services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team performance goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of banking, bank operations, retail, or customer service experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to work a set or rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
- Self-starter with a passion for delivering superior customer service.
Working Environment
This is a part-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. The work location will be within the UCB footprint.
