Job Title: Help Desk Support Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Representative to provide technical support to users across a variety of platforms, devices, and software systems, with a focus on healthcare-related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, virtual machines, desk phones, tablets, printers, mobile phones, wired/wireless networks, VPNs, webcams, and dictation hardware.
  • Troubleshoot integrated medical devices, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and anesthesia machines.
  • Safeguard system security by following established protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Diagnose, research, and resolve complex technical issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Mentor Service Desk Associates and new team members, ensuring service quality is maintained.
  • Assist with testing and integrating new technologies and workflows within the team.
  • Identify and respond to trends using Service Desk collaboration tools and cross-team communication.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in a Help Desk or Service Desk role in a healthcare setting.
  • If not from a Help Desk background, candidates must have customer-facing IT support experience.
  • Expertise in supporting Epic, Microsoft systems (Windows, Office), VPNs, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Prior experience in customer service (e.g., retail, food service) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated longevity with past employers is highly valued.
