Our facility operates overnight, providing essential care to our patients while ensuring they have direct access to specialists and critical care services when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional veterinary care to patients in our emergency hospital.
- Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient activity.
- Assist veterinarians with various tasks, often supporting multiple doctors during shifts.
- Administer diagnostic, surgical, and nursing care to all patients.
- Conduct anesthetic monitoring for basic, emergent, and critical care procedures.
- Collect and prepare samples for diagnostic testing, including blood draws and urinary catheter sampling.
- Perform laboratory procedures such as blood typing and cross-matching.
- Execute radiographic imaging while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain and operate medical equipment effectively.
- Communicate professionally with clients and ensure confidentiality.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards within the hospital environment.
- Exceed performance expectations regarding quality and productivity.
- Act as a representative of our values, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in an emergency setting or at least one year in general practice.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring three 12-hour overnight shifts, allowing for four days off each week.
Compensation: Starting at $27 per hour or more, depending on experience, with additional overnight pay differentials.
