Position Summary:

As the Vice President of Sales Strategy for our PolicyPort product, you will spearhead all sales initiatives aimed at achieving our revenue goals and expansion targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives for the PolicyPort solution.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, providing necessary training and support to foster their success.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through targeted marketing efforts, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and partners to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and developments to identify emerging market opportunities and influence the strategic direction of the PolicyPort product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, customer support, and marketing, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive sales reports, metrics, and forecasts to evaluate and enhance sales performance.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our offerings remain competitive and relevant.
  • Actively contribute to building a sales pipeline and closing deals.
  • Promote and represent the brand positively in all interactions.

Tools and Reporting:

  • Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads, prospects, and sales activities effectively.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management.

Decision-Making Authority:

  • Develop sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Make informed decisions regarding pricing, contract negotiations, and sales terms.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in sales, particularly within the insurance sector.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of sales principles and techniques, especially in technology and software sales.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and leverage new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools, along with a strong inclination towards technology.
  • Experience in executing brand awareness campaigns and generating leads through various channels.
  • Integrity-driven sales approach focused on delivering value to clients.
  • Excellent presentation and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to strategize and execute events effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in software and technology sales, with a preference for experience in the insurance industry.
