Maintenance Specialist

The Maintenance Technician is a skilled professional responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment. This role requires strong problem-solving and repair skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Support safe work practices and 5S initiatives
- Install and maintain a wide range of equipment, from complex automated machines to manually operated machines and tools
- Use technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment phone support to diagnose and repair machines and equipment
- Perform factory equipment moves and installation activities
- Perform preventative maintenance of assigned machines and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, such as resin pumps, is preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Self-starter with a detail-oriented approach
- Good computer skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all functional areas in the facility
- Flexibility for overtime, including some weekends, as needed
Frequent standing and lifting of heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. Frequent walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, squatting, kneeling, stair climbing, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.
