The Fountain Equipment Technician plays a crucial role in the delivery, setup, relocation, removal, and upkeep of fountains and beverage dispensing systems. This role demands exceptional customer service and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation and maintenance tasks on equipment
- Ensure safe driving practices and uphold a secure work environment
- Assemble and configure equipment at client sites
- Utilize handheld devices to maintain accurate records
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with equipment
Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
- Proficient in operating vehicles and various tools
- Adaptable to work in diverse environments and conditions
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems is advantageous
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to one year of relevant work experience
- Possession of a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical examination
- Certification in forklift and pallet jack operation
- Participation in company training programs for equipment repair and safety
