Expense Management

  • Safeguard company resources in accordance with LIDS Retail policies.
  • Develop and maintain store schedules to ensure adequate staffing while adhering to wage control guidelines.
  • Implement inventory management practices, including receiving, transferring, and conducting product counts, in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with LIDS Retail policies and applicable laws.
  • Execute store opening and closing procedures as outlined in the Operations Policies and Procedures Manual.
Additional Responsibilities

Team Supervision

  • Lead store associates by utilizing LIDS Training Programs, setting sales and operational goals, and conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff to meet operational objectives and adhere to company policies.
  • Administer disciplinary actions, including verbal and written warnings, and manage employment terminations with the approval of senior management.
  • Promote compliance among all associates with established company policies regarding inventory and asset protection.
  • Perform tasks of team members as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a two-year post-secondary education program and one year of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets while minimizing losses.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to deliver training and evaluate retention.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional verbal communication style.
  • Proficient in computer operations and familiar with relevant software applications.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work overhead.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods during work hours.
  • Availability for overnight travel for training and business meetings.
