Job Title: Registered Vascular Sonographer

About the Role:
AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing routine examinations in Ultrasound and adapting procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations in Ultrasound and adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Use independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in ultrasound/sonography.
  • Must know all preps for each Radiology and Vascular / Cardiac U/S exams and procedures.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
  • Associate's Degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or Radiologic Technology or Certificate of completion of Ultrasound/Sonography or Radiologic Technology program.
  • BLS (American Heart Assoc.) and Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) through ARDMS and RDMS Abdomen (AB) or RDMS Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) through ARDMS.
