Diagnostic Ultrasound and NIVA Procedures

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment
  • Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Interact with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel
  • Provide care to assigned patients and maintain a safe patient care environment
  • Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment
Requirements:
  • Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiar with majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
