Diagnostic Ultrasound and NIVA Procedures

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer II PRN to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Operate ultrasound equipment with expertise and efficiency
  • Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Interact with patients, medical staff, and hospital personnel with professionalism and courtesy
  • Assist with clerical duties, receptionist tasks, and scheduling patients as needed
Requirements:
  • Current ARDMS certification with Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiarity with ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
