The Laundry Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily laundry production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations. This role involves supervising and training laundry workers, coordinating personnel requirements, and maintaining quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist laundry workers in all aspects of laundry production, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding.
  • Coordinate personnel requirements to fulfill orders and ensure efficient use of time and productivity.
  • Train laundry workers on proper laundry techniques and ensure they are aware of quality control standards.
  • Manage the steady flow of laundry throughout the facility, overseeing quality control and coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Expedite order filling and coordinate with drivers for delivery of clean linens to customers.
  • Maintain open communication with other supervisors, leads, and managers, accepting other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • One year of supervisory experience in a production environment is required, with laundry operations background preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to supervise people, communicate effectively, and work cooperatively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make good decisions under pressure.
  • Physical ability to bend, lift up to 25 pounds, stoop, walk, and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions

The Laundry Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced laundry environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and physical demands. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional appearance is essential.
