About the Role:

Harcros Chemicals, an employee-owned company with a rich legacy in specialty chemical manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Chemical Sales Representative.

This role will involve contacting prospective customers to sell chemicals, with a focus on expanding our business and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective customers to sell chemicals and expand our business
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs and implement sales campaigns to meet company goals
  • Schedule appointments to explain products and services available
  • Inform regular customers of new products or services, market trends, and price changes
  • Communicate customer instructions to internal staff
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers
  • Effectively communicate customer needs and changes internally to purchasing, customer service, and management
  • Complete customer profiles for all new accounts and update existing accounts as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-10 years related experience and/or training
  • Skilled in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents, business procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Capable of resolving issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations
