About the Role

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced leader to drive operational, financial, quality, and patient experience objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership:
    • Serve as a key visible leader within CHMG and the overall health network.
    • Mentor, coach, and support teams of clinicians and administrative staff.
    • Champion Lean Management System (LMS) principles and organizational change.
  • Decision Making:
    • Assemble, interpret, and use data to make informed decisions.
    • Collaborate and build consensus.
    • Triage issues and respond in a timely manner.
  • Strategic Planning & Vision:
    • Help execute on the strategic direction for the organization.
    • Present plans to senior management and translate them into organizational goals.
  • Quality & Patient Safety:
    • Collaborate with clinical leadership to establish and monitor quality metrics.
    • Align goals with employment agreements, payor contracts, and compensation models.
  • Patient Experience:
    • Design systems to provide an extraordinary patient experience.
    • Lead operations to ensure consistent quality and patient safety outcomes.
  • Compensation Modeling and Administration:
    • Partner in the creation, negotiation, and administration of provider compensation models.
    • Present models to senior leadership to demonstrate adherence to Fair Market Value (FMV) standards.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare capital and operating budgets.
    • Present financial statements to senior leadership.
    • Enhance CHMG fiscal viability.
  • Provider Relations:
    • Serve as primary administrative interface with specialty care providers.
    • Prioritize issues and create strategies to improve the sense of 'joy' and 'well-being' in the provider community.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
  • Five (5) years of general Practice Management experience.
  • Five (5) years of budgetary management experience.
  • Preferred: Five (5) to seven (7) years management of multispecialty physician practices.
  • Preferred: Strong finance background.
  • Preferred: Broad experience in physician practice management, practice, or other healthcare operations.
