Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the revenue accounting process, including revenue recognition, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Analyze and interpret complex revenue transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for revenue accounting processes and transactions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue accounting within the oil and gas industry.
  • Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards specific to the industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
