Job Summary: The Arlington Independent School District is seeking a highly skilled Transition Specialist to join our team. As a Transition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the transition process for students transitioning to and from the DAEP campus.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and Texas Teacher Certification.
  • You will also have five years of successful classroom teaching experience, with a strong understanding of DAEP standards.
  • Your primary role will be to create and develop transition plans to assist students in goal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop transition plans to assist students in goal setting.
  • Conduct exit interviews and surveys.
  • Assist with the campus intake process.
  • Collect and analyze data to give reports on recidivism, student progress, and areas of need.
