Good Shepherd Hospice is in search of a dedicated individual for a Full-Time Office Coordinator with Healthcare Experience.

The Office Coordinator is responsible for providing essential support to the team by managing phone communications, text interactions, maintaining patient documentation, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
  • Working Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday
  • Healthcare Experience is mandatory
Primary Duties
  • Handles reception duties, including welcoming visitors.
  • Utilizes the computer system effectively.
  • Manages the telephone communication system, answers calls,
  • screens inquiries, redirects calls, and takes messages as needed.
  • Operates the paging system upon request from management.
  • Ensures accurate recording of time and mileage.
  • Reports any inconsistencies to supervisors.
  • Oversees the distribution of daily correspondence.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding patient and family information as well as personnel matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior office experience and/or relevant business education.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in operating office equipment, particularly computers.
