About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager 2 to join our team at CoVantage Credit Union. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the successful execution of small to large strategic and operational projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Take a lead with the successful and timely completion of projects as defined by credit union management.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate with others to schedule resources, gather and define criteria, manage timelines, and oversee budgets.
  • Risk Management: Proactively look forward to anticipate, plan, and accommodate for potential risks and conflicts.
  • Communication: Use strong communication skills to convey benchmarks, status, and results with project stakeholders.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project objectives and keep team members on task.
  • Multiple Project Management: Concurrently lead multiple varied projects across all stages of completion.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly evaluate how their project management efforts are meeting the needs of the organization and their successes.
  • Business Acumen: Stay informed on business operations, member expectations, and new technologies that have the potential to improve efficiencies within the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in business, management, or related field is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certification: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or similar required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in managing projects with Bachelor's degree, or minimum 5 years' experience in managing projects with Associate's degree.
  • Technical Skills: Experience running projects related to technology solutions preferred. Experience managing projects related to software development, architecture, and UI/UX is valuable.
  • Project Management Tools: Knowledge and experience with project management tools or software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership role.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis.
