RBS Shoe Corporation – Retail Sales Specialist Position (Part-time)

RBS Shoe Corporation is in search of a dependable and dedicated Part-Time RETAIL SALES SPECIALIST. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative individual with a positive outlook and flexible availability.

The Retail Sales Specialist will be tasked with delivering outstanding service to our clientele, identifying and fulfilling their unique needs while surpassing their expectations. The specialist is expected to create a memorable shopping experience for each customer. This role involves acting as a representative of the company through exceptional customer engagement and showcasing extensive product knowledge.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is advantageous.
  • High energy and enthusiasm (Required).
  • A strong team-oriented mindset.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail, food service, or customer service.
  • A passion for working with people and a patient demeanor.
  • Open availability (no scheduling restrictions).
  • Weekend availability is a must.
  • Ability to learn and communicate product knowledge effectively.
  • A desire for professional growth.
  • Proficient in upselling techniques.
  • Capable of providing a personalized shopping experience.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Experience in a high-end/luxury retail environment (Preferred).
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to bend and perform light to medium lifting.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers upon entry and departure.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Perform basic math functions for transaction processing.
  • Measure and fit customers with appropriate footwear and accessories.
  • Maintain product knowledge and guide customers in selecting suitable items.
  • Achieve and exceed set sales goals.
  • Introduce promotions and special offers to customers.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize Point-Of-Sale systems effectively.
  • Exercise caution and safety in all tasks.
  • Familiarize yourself with product locations and details.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Foster a positive team environment and welcome constructive feedback.
  • Assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
