Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service and promoting a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Orchestrate truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor and ensuring efficient flow of goods to sales floor
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles
  • Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary, ensuring tasks and activities are completed according to store plan
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, ensuring a visually appealing store environment
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, promoting a safe and sustainable work environment
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, providing progress updates and addressing priorities as needed
  • Participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, promoting a culture of accountability and responsibility
  • Support and participate in safety awareness initiatives, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
  • Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors, and capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

This position has a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
